Sword Swallower Dan Meyer

Another “Have Sword Will Travel” adventure in Sword Swallowing, this time a little closer to home!

Watch as Minor League Baseball Team Huntsville Stars Coach Buck Rogers pulls a sword out of Dan during a lightning storm, and then WHIPS a sword from Dan’s throat, all while trying NOT to get struck by lightning while Dan has a “lightning rod” touching his heart! This video should be called “Take Me Out IN the Ballgame!”

This was an appearance at Joe Davis Stadium just after the Huntsville Stars game and just before a scheduled Guinness World Record attempt Whiffle Ball Game was supposed to start (that’s why Dan throws out the game ball as a whiffle ball!). Unfortunately, with the approaching storm… well, we didn’t stick around much longer to set any Guinness World Records or become lightning rods ourselves!
